The existing website was built in Hubspot and it was important that it remained as the central platform, as A-HA! were familiar with the backend and were already using the Hubspot CRM, email marketing and other features.
The designer of the new identity provided mockups that featured the new typography and illustrations with minimum clutter. I implemented full page horizontal and vertical slides.
A-HA! also wanted to sell tickets to industry seminars and other products. Hubspot doesn’t offer eCommerce features and as the requirements were simple, a custom solution was overkill. We instead decided to use Shopify, a hosted solution that would be easy to scale in the future. The shop was put on a subdomain and styles were brought over so the transition between the two felt as seamless as possible.
